Golf betting tips for The Mexico Open
 (in more detail):
Tony Finau:
  • To win outright (3 points win @ 8/1 with William Hill).

  • Current form (last 5 starts): T24 – T19 – T17 – T26 – T31.

  • Tournament form (last start): T2.

Reasons to believe – Tony Finau:

“Finau was in similar form leading into this event last year and managed a T2 finish after closing with a round of 63. He has been in great form over the past 12 months, although this has dipped slightly more recently as he hasn’t registered a top 10 in his last 5 events. He is however still playing very consistently, so if Rahm has a slight off-week, I’m confident Tony can contend for top spot.” – ParUp Golf’s resident tipster ‘Big Dal’ on why he can win.

Wyndham Clark:
Reasons to believe – Wyndham Clark:

“When I saw the list of players in the field this week, he was one name that that jumped out to me. He has made 5 consecutive cuts, including x2 top 10 finishes. He finished T67 here last year, which obviously isn’t great, but a player who is improving all the time and a 1st PGA Tour win cannot be far away.” – ParUp Golf’s resident tipster ‘Big Dal’ on why he can win.

Patrick Rodgers:
  • Each-way (1 point e/w @ 28/1 with William Hill – 8 places, 1/5 odds).

  • Current form (last 5 starts): MC – T36 – MC – T58 – T19.

  • Tournament form (last start): T10.

Reasons to believe – Patrick Rodgers:

“I’ll be honest, I’m not convinced I can see Rodgers winning this week, but he is putting a really good season together, so I think he has really solid each-way chances this week in Mexico. He is always a fast starter too, so might even be worth a speculative bet on the 1st round leader market.” – ParUp Golf’s resident tipster ‘Big Dal’ on why he can win.

Brandon Wu:
  • Each-way (1 point e/w @ 70/1 with William Hill – 8 places, 1/5 odds).

  • Current form (last 5 starts): T14 – T19 – MC – T58 – MC.

  • Tournament form (last start): T2.

Reasons to believe – Brandon Wu:

“Brandon finished T2 here last year with a closing round of 63, which was his biggest payday in his rookie season, so he’ll have very fond memories of this place. His form has been solid this season too, with x2 top 20 finishes in his last 5 events. If he can find another round of 63 here this week, he should be appearing high up on the leaderboard.” – ParUp Golf’s resident tipster ‘Big Dal’ on why he can win.

Big Dal’s, big price outsider
– Chez Reavie
:
  • Each-way (1.5 points e/w @ 100/1 with William Hill – 8 places, 1/5 odds).

  • Current form (last 5 starts): MC – MC – MC – T6 – T11.

  • Tournament form (last start): T13.

Reasons to believe – Chez Reavie:

“Reavie was bang out of form, but a T6 and T11 in his last two starts should be a nice little confidence booster. He was a winner on Tour last year, so knows how to get the job done. He was also T13 here last year. Hopefully his recent good form continues this week and he can give us an each-way run for our money at a big price.” – ParUp Golf’s resident tipster ‘Big Dal’ on why he can win.
