Golf betting tips for The Charles Schwab Challenge
 (in more detail):
Colin Morikawa:
  • To win outright (2 points win @ 16/1).

  • Current form (last 5 starts): T28 – T10 – T31 – MC – T26.

  • Tournament form (last 5 starts): DNP – DNP – 2 – T14 – T40.

Reasons to believe – Colin Morikawa:

“Morikawa nearly won here in 2020 and finished T14 in 2021, so he certainly knows and likes the course. He was T40 last year, but that was when he was on a bad run of form. In contrast, he comes here this week having already registered 5 x top 15 finishes this year and on the back of a solid performance last week. I think he will be in with a shout of winning this week.” – ParUp Golf’s resident tipster ‘Big Dal’ on why he can win.

Justin Rose:
  • To win outright (2 points win @ 25/1).

  • Current form (last 5 starts): T6 – T36 – T10 – T25 – T9.

  • Tournament form (last 5 starts): DNP – T58 – T3 – T20 – MC.

Reasons to believe – Justin Rose:

“Rose is coming into this event in great form, which includes 3 x top 10 finishes in his last 5 starts. An impressive T9 at Oakhill last week in the PGA Championship shows that his game is in great shape at the moment. He finished T3 here three years ago, so he clearly knows how to play this course too.” – ParUp Golf’s resident tipster ‘Big Dal’ on why he can win.

Tommy Fleetwood:
  • Each-way (1 point e/w @ 33/1 – 8 places, 1/5 odds).

  • Current form (last 5 starts): T52 – 33 – T15 – T5 – T18.

  • Tournament form (last 5 starts): DNP – DNP – DNP – DNP – T35.

Reasons to believe – Tommy Fleetwood:

“Fleetwood is another player in good form, having made 9 consecutive cuts, including x3 top 20 finishes in a row. He is another player who played well last week at Oakhill in the PGA Championship. I think it is surely only a matter of time now before he captures his first win on the PGA Tour.” – ParUp Golf’s resident tipster ‘Big Dal’ on why he can win.

Cam Davis:
  • Each-way (1 point e/w @ 35/1 – 8 places, 1/5 odds).

  • Current form (last 5 starts): T17 – MC – T7 – T59 – T4.

  • Tournament form (last 5 starts): DNP – DNP – MC – T45 – T7.

Reasons to believe – Cam Davis:

“Great performance last week from Cam Davis to finish T4 at Oakhill in the PGA Championship. We shouldn’t really be surprised though as he is a player in good form, with x3 top 20 finishes in his last 5 events, including x2 top 10’s. He is now ranked within the top 50 players in the world, so it’s now time to show that you belong with the big boys and take the victory this week.” – ParUp Golf’s resident tipster ‘Big Dal’ on why he can win.

Big Dal’s, big price outsider
– Emiliano Grillo
:
  • Each-way (1 point e/w @ 66/1 – 8 places, 1/5 odds).

  • Current form (last 5 starts): T53 – T7 – T5 – T23 – MC.

  • Tournament form (last 5 starts): DNP – T19 – MC – T8 – T63.

Reasons to believe – Emiliano Grillo:

“Grillo is one of those players that I seem to see near the top of the leaderboard at some stage every week, but he always seems to then drift away. However he has been in good form of late. Ignoring the missed cut last week, which can be forgiven given it was a major championship, he registered x3 consecutive top 25 finishes, including a T7 and T5. Priced up at 66/1, I think Grillo is very lively outsider for the week.” – ParUp Golf’s resident tipster ‘Big Dal’ on why he can win.

All odds quoted were correct at the time of publishing and are subject to change. Player current form and tournament form reads left to right (e.g. most recent start displayed to far right).
