No, the app does not require GPS. The app’s requirement for battery power is minimal.
All data is saved securely in the AWS (Amazon Web Services) cloud and syncs automatically to leaderboards you are involved in.
Any scores you have already recorded will remain saved on your device. Keep a paper and pencil record of all remaining scores and update the app when you have recharged the battery. Some features work offline, like keeping scores however, other users will not be able to see your progress or see changes on the live leaderboard until you get a mobile signal in order to sync scorecards.

If your course isn’t listed, email us at info@parup.golf with the course name, location, and a scorecard image. We’ll add it as soon as possible.
When creating your round or event, first select Country, which will filter golf courses just in that country to the list under Golf Course. Use the search bar by typing the name of the course and it will appear in the list to select.
Yes, as long as we have the course included on our database. ParUp Golf has the data for over 30,000 Golf Clubs and 39,000 Golf courses worldwide. We currently only cater for 18-hole courses, but will be adding 6 and 9-hole courses very soon.
